Tin

During this electrolytic process, tin is deposited onto the surface of the base metal. See application.

Post Finish
An anti-tarnish agent is available. Matte and dull finishes are also available.

Rack or Barrel
This process is normally performed on a racking line. A barrel line is available for smaller parts.

Special Treatment
A range of special treatment options are available. For tin, the popular options are masking and strip previous plating/replate.

Maximum Size
The plating tank size is 12 x 6 x 3 ft.

Thickness
Range from flash (less than one-tenth) to 1 thou (0.001 inch).

ASTM, MIL, QQ or to customer specifications

Base Material
This process can be performed on most base metals. There are special processes for plating on aluminum and bronze.
